HOT PLUM TAPIOCA

UNUSUAL DISH FOR DESSERT. For dessert the following dish (Hot Plum Tapioca) is tasty and unusual. One-fourth cup granulated sugar, one-eighth teaspoon salt, three tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca, one 12ounce tin plum juice, one tablespoon butter or margarine, cream. Combine the sugar, salt, tapioca, and plum juice in a double boiler. Cook over hot water for 20 minutes, stiring frequently. Remove from heat and add butter. Serve with cream. Serves three or four.
