The Federal Government is unable td confirm the optimistic unofficial reports from Canada, of the prospects of an early completion of a Pacific shipping agreement. Sir Earle Page has informed Mr J. A. Lyons that though negotiations are proceeding in London, he has no knowledge, of any decision to proceed immediately with the ordering of new ships. T
