Frost, 6.ldeg. General situation: An intense anticyclone still covers New Zealand, its centre being located to the east of the South Island. Forecast, light to moderate and variable winds, with noriherlies gradually predominating; a few isolated showers at first in eastern areas 'out weather otherwise mainly fair to fine. Temperatures rather milder but some frosts probable tonight.
