Askew, who is sharing a rom with her, also has been excluded from the party, for fear of spreading the infection to other players. M. Simpson, of Wellington, has been called on as a replacement. The New Zealand team will be chosen from: —M. Rhind, A. McDonald. W. Woolley, M. Simpson. M. Sanson, T>. Aldridge, A. Mackie, M. Nicol. U. McKenzie, M. Sheriff, H. MrT.■••llan, D. Dickie. A big crowd is expected. There will be excursion trains from New Plymouth, Taihape and Palmerston North.’ Despite mid-week rain, the ground is in good order.
