HELP FOR MINISTERS
- NEW MOVE IN AUSTRALIA. PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARIES APPOINTED. ' ' (Recd This Day, 10.55 a.m.). CANBERRA. July 14. The Federal Prime Minister (Mr J. ■*. Lyons) announced that ParliamentSecretaries would be appointed to assist in the administration of the treasury and the Department of Defence. Mr J. N. Lawson would be appointed to the Treasury and Mr G. A. Street to the Department of Defence. They will relieve Ministers of much routine work and also help in drafting and handling Bills.
