ARAB TERRORISTS

ALLEGED REFUGE IN SYRIA. GOVERNMENT MAINTAINING CLOSE CONTACT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 13. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs. Mr R. A. Butler, was asked in the House of Commons today if the Government would bring the existing state of affairs in Palestine to the notice of France, with a view to the latter’s ceasing to afford asylum in territory under French jurisdiction to Arab leaders engaged in fomenting and directing the terrorist campaign in Palestine.

Mr Butler replied that, as in the case of the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, close contact was being maintained by the Government regarding the alleged political activities of other Arab leaders in the territories under French mandate.
