RUSSIAN BALLET
COMING TO NEW ZEALAND J. C. WILLIAMSON ENTERPRISE (Recd This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. Messrs J. C. Williamson Australia and New Zealand Theatres Ltd. have engaged the entire Covent Garden Russion Ballet Company of 70, with all costumes and scenery. The company will embark on the Maloja on August 19, a week after the close of the London season. The repertoire includes 30 ballets, 11 of which hitherto have not been produced in Australia or New Zealand. The stars include Baranova, Riabouchinska, Denissova, and the leading male dancers are Lichine, PetrofT, and Jasinsky.
