RABBITSKIN SALE

SALE IN WELLINGTON At the third rabbitskin sale of this season at Wellington yesterday the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd.. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., offered medium sized catalogues containing a large percentage of winter skins to a full bench of buyers. Competition was exceptionally keen. Prices as compared with the sale held in June were from par to slightly easier for spring, summer and autumn skins, with a sharp rise in winter lots. The latter were up to lOd a pound dearer. Prime bucks sold at 99d a lb, prime does at 66d, firsf bucks, 96.; d, and first does at Go.',d. It was a successful sale, with total clearances.
