HOCKEY
INDIANS WIN AGAIN. GORE, July 13. Two thousand spectators were delighted by an excellent exhibition of hockey when the Indians beat East-ern-Northern Southland 11-0 on a frost-affected ground. Play was fast and spectacular, with the Indians in almost constant- control of the ball. The manner in which the Indians controlled the ball at top
speed was little short of amazing. Time and again they went through the opposition. In stickwork and positional play they were vastly superior to the opposition, who put up a stubborn fight. The half-time score was 7-0. Scorers for India were Hussain, Qavi, Abdul Latif, Fernandez (2), Ahmed Khan (2), Keroz Khan (4). ■ INTER-SCHOOL GAMES. WAIRARAPA v DANNEVIRKE.
