VISUAL TELEPHONES

EXTENSION OF SYSTEM IN GERMANY. SCREEN REVELATIONS. (Recd This Day, 11.25 a.m.) BERLIN, July 12. A telephone system, enabling users to see each other, has been inaugurated between Berlin and Munich. This adds a hundred miles to the 300 mile long from Nuremberg to Berlin which has been operating similarly since last year. The small screen used is similar to that used for television radio, but ultra-red rays restore platinum blondes to their original shade, if it is not genuine and show up men’s beards, even if they are perfectly shaven.
