RATANA VICTIMS
CONCLUSION OF INQUEST AT WANGANUI WANGANUI, This Day. The inquest of the seven victims of the Ratana rail smash was concluded this morning before Mr S. M. Dixon, coroner, verdicts being returned in accordance with the evidence of Dr H. L. Widdowson, Medical Superintendent of the Wanganui Hospital, and Dr G. J. Adams, taken before he left for Australia. The victims were Miss Zoe Muriel Sollitt, 21, Palmerston North, Mrs Ethel Lewis, 50, Wellington, Leslie Walden Stroud, 18, Wellington, Percy W. Quinton, 63, Wellington. Hazel Doris Tullock, 24, Petone, Ken Miller, 33, Wellington, fireman, Mrs Emma Wilton Webb, Wellington.
