the electoral committee NOMINATION OF DELEGATES Nominations of delegates to represent the various districts on the electoral committee of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board have been received by the returning officer. For every district except Otago, the number of nominations coincides with the number required, and the nominees have been declared elected. A postal ballot will be conducted in the Otago district, and ballot-papers, are to be sent to all sheep-owners owning not fewer than 100 sheep. The list of nominations is as follows: — Auckland district: A. B. Moore (Whangarei), H. W. Wilson (Ngaruawahia), H. E. Worsp (Whangarei). Gisborne district: T. le C. Powdrell (Wairoa), S. D. Reeves (Gisborne). Hawke’s Bay district: C. R. Edgecombe (Waipukurau), L. Maclean (Hastings), H. B. Stuckey (Dannevirke). West Coast district: T. Currie (Brunswick), J. Knight (Feilding), L. Marfell (Stratford), L. B. Wall (Kairanga). Wairarapa district: J. 'M. James (Masterton), M. McLeod (Martinborough). Marlborough-Nelson-Westland district: H. J. Stace (Spring Creek). North and Mid-Canterbury district: G. Fulton (Rangiora), R. J. Mulligan (Mayfield), W. O. Rennie (Doyleston). South Canterbury district: H. B. S. Johnstone (Otaio). Otago district: D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown), W. Doig (Papakaio), J. D. Revie (Heriot), D. J. Ross (Hillgrove); three delegates required. Southland district: W. J. A. McGregor (Ohai), E. K. Sim (Tautapere), H. Smith (Waikaka Valley). The electoral committee elected from the above will assemble in Wellington on August 25 and 26 to consider the sixteenth annual report and statement of accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. The only nomination for the two vacancies for producers’ representatives on the board were Messrs T. A. Duncan (Hunterville) and James Begg (Dunedin), the sitting members, and they therefore been reelected unopposed.
