MISS JEAN BATTEN
AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN FRANCE. (Recd This Day, 10.20 a.m.) PARIS, July 11. Miss Jean Batten encountered rough weather during hei’ flight from Lympe. She was forced to descend at Abbeville and landed at the Buc Aerodrome, near Versailles. She is the guest of the French Aero Club, which is giving her a reception tomorrow.
