CAR CONVERSION

THREE MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, July'll. In the Magistrate’s Court Harold Joseph Tobin was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labour for the conversion of a motorcar valued at £l5O, the property of the New Zealand Workers’ Union. The car was taken at Greymouth and found in possession of accused at Rotorua, it was stated. The sentence is to be additional to eight months’ imprisonment accused is at present serving for other offences.
