MILD ATTACK OF GASTRIC INFLUENZA REST NECESSARY BEFORE VISIT TO FRANCE STAYING IN BED FOR DAY OR TWO By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. It is officially stated that his Majesty is suffering from a mild attack of gastric influenza, necessitating a rest pending his visit to France. The King has a slight temperature and stayed in bed today, and will remain there for a day or two. It is understood that his prospects of visiting France are excellent. His consultants are Lord Dawson of Penn and Sir John Weir.
