THE ALL BLACKS
ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY FIT & WELL MANAGERS OF TEAM OPTIMISTIC. INJURED AUSTRALIAN PLAYERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, at 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The All Blacks arrived on the Wanganella, feeling very fit and well. The Wanganella encountered a Tasman gale and a heavy swell on Saturday night; otherwise the trip was good. The managers of the All Black team are most optimistic and say they expect their side to develop into one of the best that has left the Dominion. The New South Wales Union Council tendered a reception to the players this morning.
The New South Wales selectors confer today regarding the team for Saturday. One winger, Kelaher, has already dropped out, owing to injuries. The other winger, Moran, is injured and unable to train, and the reserve winger, O’Brien, is also unfit.
