A British police and six Arabs were injured in a bomb explosion in the old city of Jerusalem today. . . THREE JEWS ARRESTED. — ■ - ‘ 4BLACK WATCH TAKES UP STREET STATIONS. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) JERUSALEM, July 8. Three Jews have been arrested in connection with the fatal bombthrowing. The Black Watch has taken up stations in the streets. It is rumoured that battalions of the Irish Guards and of the Essex Regiment are standing by in Egypt. H.M.S. Repulse has arrived at Haifa. NAZIS ATTACK BRITAIN. BERLIN, July 8. The newspapers criticise British policy in Palestine and attack the Jews, declaring that Britain has cheated the Arabs.
