A Dutch army officer has invented a form of “invisible” light, which cannot be seen from the air and its presence cannot be detected by reflection. The invention embodies a very narrow beam, which is invisible from a distance of JOOft, but provides sufficient illumination for vehicles to proceed at 4Q m.p.h. It should be particularly useful in avoiding damage to military motor transport by aerial bombardment.
