GLIDER CLIMB
REMARKABLE NEW RECORD ESTABLISHED, SOVIET AIRMAN’S FEAT. WARSAW, July 6. The Soviet airman Hezanko is reported to have attained a record altitude of 16,400 feet in a glider. The previous record was 13,650 feet.
