THE LAND SPEED RECORD. CAPTAIN EYSTON TO MAKE ANOTHER ATTEMPT. NEW YORK, July 4. The famous British racing driver, Captain George Eyston, arrived from England today en route for Bonneville Salt Flats, where he will attempt later in the month to better his last year’s land speed record of 311.42 miles an hour. He predicted a speed of 330 miles an hour.
