JOCKEYS INJURED

ACCIDENTS AT TRENTHAM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. When his mount, Sunder, fell at the first fence in the Vittoria Hurdles at Trentham yesterday the rider. L. Dulieu, Auckland, was kicked by another horse while lying on the ground. He received a fracture of the skull and was taken to hospital. His condition is serious, but was reported late last night to be improving. Two jockeys received slight injuries during the running of the Wellington Steeplechase. N. Watson, Auckland, was admitted to hospital with an injury to the left ear. received when his mount, Kinkle, fell. J. Fergus, Frankton, whose mount. Smilin’ Thru, fell at the last fence, was admitted to hospital with slight concussion.
