(Recd This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 4. ** Ministry of Labour returns show that approximately 11,333,000 insured persons were in employment on June 13, which is a decline of 42,000 compared with May 16, and a decline of 326,000 compared with June 21, 1937. The number of unemployed registered on June 13 was 1,802,912, an increase of 24,107 compared with May 16 and allowing for revisions in the method of counting, the unemployed increased by about half a million compared with June 21, 1937. The increase can be attributed partly to local holidays, and the extension of the Whitsun holidays.
