THOUSANDS EAGER TO ENTER AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. CANBERRA, July 4. The Commonwealth Government is being inundated with applications from Jews in Germany and Austria desiring to settle permanently in Australia. Already nearly 4000 have been received. Most applications belong to the professional class. Government officials are working overtime ascertaining whether the applicants can comply with the immigration qualifications.
