General Franco’s supporters announce the capture of a whole iron ring defensive system, to the right of Sagunto, which was found to contain five parallel lines of trenches, elaborately fortified. MORE BOMBING RAIDS. TWELVE PERSONS KILLED IN VILLAGE. MANY CASUALTIES IN ALICANTE. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) MADRID, July 4. Five Junkers planes raided the village of Gava, killing twelve persons and injuring 33. Nine Savoia bombers dropped 24 bombs in the working class suburb of Alicante, causing many casualties.
