GOLD MINING RETURNS

The Mataki Junction return for the week ended June 30 is 440 z of smelted gold for 126 hours’ working and 20,000 yards dredged. The Worksop Extended return is 77 ounces for 135 hours and 12,000 yards. The Okarito dredge reports a return of 19oz. 9dwt.

The Goldfields Dredging Company advises a wash-up of Boz 17dwt for 130 hours’ dredging. The Mataki- dredge return for the week ended July 3 was 360 z for 131 hours’ work and 8000 cubic yards.
