RUGBY LEAGUE
NEW ZEALAND TOUR OF NEW SOUTH WALES. i ANNUAL EXCHANGE OF VISITS DESIRED. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Copyright. (Recd This Day, 11.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A plea for a yearly interchange of visits of Rugby League football teams between New South Wales and New Zealand was made to the general committee of the New South Wales League by Messrs Redwood and Carlaw. Mr Redwood said the present tour had been a great experience, but the value of that experience would be lost if there were a long period between visits. Mr Flegg, president of the League, replying, said the League was anxious for tne time to come when they could invite a New Zealand team over every year and even send a team to New Zealand every year also.
