MASTERTON CLUB. RINKS FINAL WON BY HENDRY’S TEAM. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club carried the pairs competition a further stage last week with ,L. Roff (s) and R. Jansen still remaining unbeaten. The final of the rinks competition was also played last week between Hendry’s and Fenton’s teams. A good game resulted, the issue always being in doubt. Hendry’s team eventually won by 19 to 16. The following are the results of the pairs games:—Pickering 18' beat Edwards 12; Kennard 24 beat Davies 9; L. Roff 17 beat Finlayson 11; Leigh 21 beat Ferguson 14; Edwards 17 beat Vincent 11; Reeves 13 beat Hendry 10; Davies 12 beat Ferguson 11; Lewis 16 beat Pickering 9; Kennard 11 beat Thompson 8; Lewis 15 beat Dixon 14; Joyce 14 beat Dixon 10; C. Roff 18 beat Finlayson 12; L. Roff 13 beat Fenton 8; Joyce 21 beat Thompson 9; Reeves 13 beat C. Roff 12; Leigh 20 beat Hendry 11.
