In the final of the women’s singles Mrs H. Wills-Moody (U.S.A.) beat Miss Jacobs 1 (U.S.A.) 6—4, 6—o. Miss Jacobs’s ankle gave out in the second set and the match was a mere procession. In the final of the men’s doubles Budge and Mako (U.S.A.) retained their title by defeating Henkel and Metaxa (Germany). The holders of the women’s doubles, Mme. R. Mathieu (France) and Miss A. M. Yorke (Great Britain), lost their title to Mrs Fabyan and Miss Marble (U.S.A.). The final of the mixed doubles resulted in another win for America. Budge and Miss Marble beating Henkel and Mrs Fabyan. Results are:— Women's Singles. (Holder, Mrs D. Little, nee Miss D. E. Round.) i Final:—Mrs H. Wills-Moody (U.S.A.) beat Miss H.
