A beautiful day, after a period of unsettled weather, favoured the Marton Jockey Club for its winter meeting which is being held today. The attendance is large. The track is on the heavy side. Time, 3.3 2-5. ■ FLYING HANDICAU, 6 fur. 9 Rustem, 8.8 (Broughton) 1 5 Gold Glare, 8.10 2 2 Short Circuit, 8.10 3 Scr: Colincamps, Ruenzori, High Peer. Half a head; 11 lengths. Time, 1.22 4-5.
