THE REGENT.

“MAD ABOUT MUSIC.” Coming to the Regent tonight for an extended season of one week is “Mad About Music,” which portrays the loveable Deanna Durbin. Associated with her are Herbert Marshall, Arthur Teacher and Gail Patrick. The producers of “Mad About Music” have boldly thrown Deanna into a story that demands the utmost in acting talent, and 15-year-old Deanna handles the difficult assignment with ease and assurance. As entertainment, “Mad About Music” excels either of her previous pictures. Her new production is almost entirely comedy-drama, but with a story that lends itself to several highly emotional passages. An excellent supporting programme makes an altogether outstanding evening's entertainment. The box plan which is rapidly filling is now at the Regent only (’phone 2303). Patrons are asked to note that telephone reserves must be collected by 7.30 p.m.
