VITAL STATISTICS. (“Times-Age” Special.) During the quarter ended June 30, 1938, there were 21 births, 6 deaths and 12 marriages registered in Carterton. RETURNED SOLDIERS’ DANCE. On Monday night, the Carterton > R.S.A. Branch will hold its annual * plain and fancy dress ball. All arrangements are complete to make this year’s event an even greater success than on previous occasions. Many handsome prizes will be awarded for fancy costumes and novelty dances, . and special attention is being given to the supper. The ball will be held in the King’s Theatre, and a most enjoyable evening is assured for this social event. PERSONAL* The Moderator of 4he Presbyterian Church, the Rev. W. Howes, will visit Longbush tomorrow where he will preach.
