ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDE IN WELLINGTON NO APPARENT DAMAGE DONE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Noticeable to the eyes even of people about the hill suburbs, an abnormally high tide was experienced at Wellington last night. It was nearly a record. No damage was done apparently, but these was two feet of water in the cellars of the New Government Life building on the reclaimed land adjacent to the G.P.0.. Part of the ground floor of this building, which is not completed yet, is occupied, but the cellars are empty. There was some seepage also into the cellars under the Post Office, but this was easily mopped up and nothing suffered. I
