The other herd has always been milked at Gladstone, and has been tested, and many of the mature cows have records of over 3001bs. fat. Mr Rayner has always heavily culled, and last season no less than 18 heifers were brought into the herd. The country on which these cows have been milked is more suitable for sheep farming than dairying, and they should do well anywhere.
