DEATH FROM INJURIES
WARRANT ISSUED FOR ARREST OF ALLEGED ASSAILANT. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. Following the death in Wellington ■ Public Hospital of John Joseph Owen. • aged 71, who lived at 25 Richmond - Street, Petone, a warrant has been is- , sued for the arrest of a man alleged to have assaulted Mr Owen. The man disappeared from the district on the night of June 24, when Mr Owen was 3 admitted to hospital in a semi-consci-ous condition.
