ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

$ VISIT FROM WELLINGTON TEAM At a meeting of the Wairarapa Football Association last night, a motion of sympathy was passed with the relations of the late Mr A. P. Whatman, members standing in silence. It was reported that there were several new members coming forward, and that in the near future two teams would probably be able to take the fields. This was considered most encouraging. A visit from a Wellington team was expected on Saturday. The financial position was again discussed, and the treasurer reported that he had received several small donations from supporters.
