CAR STRIKES POLE
4 BOY FATALLY' INJURED AT JOHNSONVILLE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A fatal accident, in which a father and son were involved, the son dying of injuries received, occurred at 6.30 o’clock last evening at Johnsonville. Mr R. S. McQuarrie, a clerk, of Titahi Bay, was driving, with his son Robert, aged 14, on the seat beside him, when the car struck a telegraph pole. Both occupants of the car were taken to hospital. The son was severely wounded in the neck and was operated on but died at 2 o'clock this morning.
