THE REGENT.

"THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER.”

“The Prince and the Pauper” will be shown finally at the Regent Theatre tonight. “BAD MAN OF BRIMSTONE.” One of the year’s outstanding spectacles will be shown on Thursday at the Regent Theatre, viz., “The Bad Man of Erimstone,” starring Wallace Beery in an epic saga of the lawless West. Staged against the grim background of the West’s most rugged panoramas, “The Bad Man of Brimstone” presents a saga of the unregenerate town of Brimstone, ruled with a ruthless six-gun by Wallace Beery. Bringing to the screen all the talents which have endeared him to the hearts of America’s picture-going millions, Beery is assisted by Dennis O’Keefe, recent cinematic discovery, and by Virginia Bruce. Miss Bruce, in her role as daughter of Brimstone’s justice of the peace, provides an exciting incentive to O’Keefe in his clean-up efforts. A distinguished cast of supporting players includes Joseph Calleia, Lewis Stone, Guy Kibbee, Bruce Cabot, Cliff Edwards, Guinn Williams, Arthur Hohl, Robert Gleckler, Noah Beery, Scotty Beckett and scores of character actors and extras, many of whom actually fought through the days when the West was wild and contribute invaluable realistic touches to the epic.
