STUD SHEEP SALES

DULL SYDNEY MARKET SYDNEY. June 28. Stud sheep sales at the Showground met a rather dull market tone today, being depressed compared with former years. Many familiar buyers were absent. FJockmasters are reluctant to stock up further owing to the absence of feed and lower wool prices resulting in considerable withdrawals. Yesterday’s 261 offerings, chiefly stud merino rams, realised £10,276, at an average of £39 7s 6d each. The' highest price paid yesterday was 475 guineas, and the highest today was 390 guineas. Only limited competition was displayed today for Corriedales, the prices for which ranged to 175 guineas. Mr T. Danger, a New Zealander, paid 120 guineas for a special stud ram.
