General situation: An intense anticyclone is now centred east of East Cape, conditions are disturbed over the Tasman. Sea,'depressions being centred south o't Norfolk Island and over the south Tasman respectively. Forecast: Moderate but freshening north-east to northerly winds; weather fair to fine at first but gradually clouding over and rain developing after about 24 hours. Temperatures milder.
