Modern and old-time dances were on the programme, besides novelty dances and competitions. As usual an excellent supper was provided by the ladies. Dancing was kept up with its usual swing until well past midnight. The committee will be able to hand to the Women’s Division over £7 which is very gratifying indeed. Miss Gray (Feilding) and Mr B. F. Schofield won the Monte Carlo waltz, Miss Gray also winning the mystery parcel competition, while Mr F. Burrows was successful in securing the iced cake. The music was kindly supplied by Mrs Bannister, Mrs I. McGregor and Messrs R. and F. McKinstry. The ladies’ committee wish to thank all those who contributed and patronised the function and helped to make it the success it undoubtedly deserved. PERSONAL. Miss M. Cooper, Gisborne, is the guest of Mrs I. McGregor. Miss Gray, Feilding, is staying with her father at Land’s End.
