Y.M.C.A. BUILDING
OPENING OF NEW HALL. A fine new hall,. 42ft. by 32ft.. with a separate entrance and up-to-date kitchen facilities has been added to the Masterton Y.M.C.A's. equipment. Since the completion of the contract, voluntary work and gifts of material have made it possible to proceed a further stage and the hall, though still unfinished, will be officially opened early in July by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan. The opening will be attended by representatives of various organisations and interests and the chairman and secretary of the Y.M.C.A. National Council will also be- present. A short programme of musical items and addresses will be followed by supper and a social and dance.
