CONVALESCENT HOME

PROPOSED NATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT A meeting is called in this issue by the National Women’s and Children’s Convalescent Home at Rotorua, to be held at Masterton on Thursday next at 7.30 p.m. in the Social Hall. The object of the organisation is the provision of a home and farm to be established at Rotorua, to serve the whole of the North Island, and provide, in suitable surroundings, a place where women (particularly mothers) and children up to six years of age, can have rest and the convalescent treatment necessary to the building up of their health and strength. The speaker at the meeting will be Lady Statham, who is Patron. His Worship the Mayor (Mr T. Jordan), will preside.
