RATE OF I’d FROM BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA. (Recd This Day. 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 24. An air mail service at the rate of IJd from Britain to Australia is being inaugurated on July 28. ALL DETAILS SETTLED. STATEMENT BY AUSTRALIAN MINISTER. (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The Hon. H. V. C. Thorby stated that every detail of the agreements between the contracting parties in the flying-boat mail service between England and Australia had been settled and it only remained for the agreements to be ratified by Parliament.
