ABOLITION OF EXTRA-TERRITORIAL RIGHTS
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) SHANGHAI, June 24. The Japanese have abolished extra-territorial rights in the occupied areas. A new threat to Hankow is made as a result of the landing of 6000 Japanese on the south bank of the Yangtse Kiang near Tungliu, east of the Matang boom. Heavy fighting continues. The Chinese claim that their bombers set fire to three warships near Tungliu.
