WHALING CONTROL
MEASURES OF RESTRICTION APPROVED. (Recd This Day, 10.55 a.m.) LONDON. June 24. The whaling conference, including Japan, signed a protocol exempting humpbacks from capture in the Antarcticc for a year and establishing a two years' sanctuary in the Antarctic for baleens, besides protecting all whales from capture in the Arctic.
