PROFESSIONAL BOUTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, June 24. In a fast professional boxing bout at Hamilton last night, Clarrie Marshall (Gisborne), 10.12, beat Don Johnson (Auckland), 10.3, on points. A professional preliminary between Jack Duncan (Frankton) 9.9. and Pat Murphy (England), 9.81, resulted in a‘win for Duncan on points. This was Murphy’s first appearance in New Zealand. He claims 192 victories in 200 fights. The match marked Duncan’s professional debut.
