Scores in the first days play in the final of the Empire amateur billiards championship were: —Marshall (Australia), 2912; Kennerley (England), 788. Marshall created four world amateur records, the highest aggregates for two and four hour sessions and the highest averages in similar sessions. His best breaks were 384, 335, 230 and 230 unfinished.
