CONCLUDED AT GENEVA. ONLY ONE NEW CONVENTION ADOPTED. LONDON, June 22. The Geneva correspondent of “The Times” says the International Labour Office conference has concluded. It adopted only one new convention, dealing with the internationalisation of certain labour statistics. The remainder were according a first reading and will form the agenda for the 1939 conference. They include the reduction of hours in coal mines, a general reduction of hours of work, draft conclusions relating to projected international conventions, technical education, apprenticeships, native labour contracts, recruiting and migrants.
