THE KIWIS’ TEAM. TO BE REORGANISED. BRISBANE. June 23. The Kiwis’ selectors have decided cn a reorganisation of the team for Saturday’s match against Queensland. Smith will play full-back to allow Hemi to play three-quarter. Grotte will play half-back instead of Brimble and either W. Brimble or Tittleton at five-eighth. Either Anderson or Satherley will replace Tetley with Glyn in the front row of the scrum in place of Cootes. The manager, Mr Redwood, expects that the team will be more powerful than it was last Saturday. The personnel will be; Smith, Brown, Chase, Hemi, Kay, Midgley (one to be omitted), Tittleton or W. Brimble. Grotte. Glynn, Orman, McNeigßt. Brodrick, McLeod, Anderson, or Satherley. At training practice this morning the Kiwis concentrated on the scrummage and playing the ball, hoping to get more possession as a result of the altered interpretation of the “play the ball” rule. Chase is suffering from a slightly injured ankle after the Toowoomba match. He. did not run today, but expects to be fit by Saturday.
