INTERMENT AT GLAMIS CASTLE EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY IN PARIS CONDOLENCES FROM MANY LANDS (Recd This Day, 11.25 a.m.) x- LONDON, June 23. r. The Countess of Strathmore is being ■t interred at Glamis Castle on June 27. After a period of suspense, the post(t ponement of the visit to Paris to the dates cabled was announced, with an j indication that the suggestion came from the French President (M Lee brun). The Majesties are deeply ape preciative of M Lebrun’s motives, and e gladly accepted the suggestion. The news of the Countess’ death' shocked g Paris. Strangers stopped English visitors in the streets and expressed sym- ’ pathy. Everybody is delighted that a ' solution has been found permitting the '■ Queen to accompany the King. Condolences have been received at ■’ the Palace from all parts of the world, IS amongst other from the Pope and King s Victor Emmanuel.
